SM TRADING, formally DEX Engineering was established in 1999, under the Formation & Leadership of Shane Morel. Having begun in a small 10 square meter basement with 2 employees, the Business is now operated out of an 800 square meter Workshop & an additional 800 square meter yard; employing over 12 Artisans & Labourers. Fabrication of mild steel & Stainless steel components & equipment has been conducted for many years to the Civil, Petro-chemical, Pulp & Paper,Sugar Industries. We also service a substantial amount of General Engineering to the Motor & Retail Industries. SM TRADING is a Black economic Empowered company situated in Queensburgh, Durban.

Specializing is Structural & General Engineering, we have kept many clients happy for over 16 years.

SM TRADING is a small general fabrication company established in 1999 & provides the following:

• A Quality service to the Industry at large
• Positioned to service small & large clients directly, or through Sub-contract via large service providers
• Structural Engineering & fabrication of structural components
• Fabrication of piping & piping components
• General Engineering & fabrication of related components
